Harriet Habert

Co-Founder and Managing Partner

Harriet Habert is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Arc Advisors. Prior to Arc, Ms. Habert was the Managing Member of Habert Capital Advisors LLC, where she advised and raised institutional capital for alternative asset managers. Prior to founding Habert Capital Advisors, Ms. Habert was a Senior Director at Invesco Private Capital and a Client Portfolio Manager for the firm’s private credit, private equity, and venture capital strategies. Her prior experience includes leading institutional sales for Hollis Park Partners LP, where she developed and implemented the marketing strategy for the launch of a structured product hedge fund, and distributing structured products in the capital markets at UBS Securities and BMO Capital Markets.

Ms. Habert began her career in New York City as a structured finance attorney and spent five years at Skadden Arps where she represented underwriters, issuers, and investors in all aspects of structured finance transactions. Ms. Habert received a JD from Cornell Law School and a BA from Binghamton University, where she graduated with honors.

Ms. Habert is a Member of the Advisory Board for The Ackerman Institute’s Gender and Family Project and a Member of the New York State Bar.

Nia White

Nia White

Co-Founder and Managing Partner

Nia White is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Arc Advisors. Prior to Arc, she was a Partner and the Head of Investor Relations and External Affairs for Astra Capital Management, a private equity spin-out of The Carlyle Group, where she helped raise the firm’s inaugural fund and co-investments. Previously, Ms. White expanded North American institutional investor relationships for GP Investments, a leading Latin American alternatives manager. Prior thereto, she was an Investment Principal in the Investor Development Group at Actis, where she helped raise several pan-emerging market alternatives funds and opened the firm’s office in New York City. Before joining Actis, Ms. White was a Founding Partner of MAP Capital, a private placement firm.

Ms. White began her career at Goldman Sachs & Co. where she was an Associate in High Yield and a Vice President in Principal Finance in the Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities Division.

Ms. White serves as the Capital Access Advisor to the National Association of Investment Companies (NAIC) and on the boards of WellbeingXP, New Markets Investors, and The Bakari Foundation. Ms. White received a BS in Economics and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Brian Lahart, Managing Director of Arc Advisors

Brian Lahart

Managing Director

Brian Lahart is a Managing Director of Arc Advisors. Prior to Arc, he was a Managing Director and Head of Manager Research at Abbot Downing (Wells Fargo’s ultra-high net worth division) where he built and led their alternative investments research platform. While at Abbot Downing, Mr. Lahart wrote and implemented the firm’s due diligence procedures and led a team responsible for sourcing and vetting funds across venture capital, buyout, private credit, private real estate, secondaries, and hedge fund strategies. Previously, Mr. Lahart was a Founding Partner and Head of Risk Management for Allianz Hedge Fund Partners, where he led the firm’s portfolio risk management function and performed due diligence across the firm’s hedge fund portfolio. His prior experience includes performing risk management oversight and operational due diligence for Citigroup’s Alternative Investments Strategies Group.

Mr. Lahart serves on the Investment Committee for the San Domenico School Endowment and is a CFA charter holder. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
